How I’ve Avoiding Catching Colds from my Preschooler!

When my oldest daughter Emilia began preschool this past September, I heard all the horror stories from other parents. The claims that she would bring home a cold every month and that I would most likely catch them too. I was scared!

As a stay at home mom it’s just not possible for me to take a sick day. I’m the backbone to this family. If I get ill, even for just a few short days, it really seems like my entire house falls apart.

When Airloom contacted me and asked if I would like to give their “seasonal support supplement” a try, I thought why not? I’ve always appreciated the natural approach to remedies. I use castor oil in my hair to help it grow, apple cider on my skin to help balance my skin’s pH, and collagen powder in my coffee and protein powder to help my nails grow long and strong. I’m all about going the natural route rather than pump my body with chemicals or drugs.

As I researched Airloom a little more I was excited to learn that it’s not only for immunity, but also for respiratory support.

Last year I had terrible allergies! I blame them on all the rain we got the winter before. It made all these beautiful flowers bloom out of nowhere but my eyes and nose were on paying for it. I would take my prescribed antihistamines but I would end up feeling drowsy and sometimes even dizzy. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the best mom during those times.

When my bottle of Airloom arrived I was so delighted! The bottle reads, “The mindful person’s all-natural pharma-free choice to maintain a healthy immune and respiratory system”.  I have to say, I felt very smart taking it. Ha!

You might be wondering what the heck Airloom is made of, here’s what the bottle says: Organic Quercetin, Organic Grape Seed Extract, Organic Bromelain, Butterbur Root Extract, Organic Turmeric

I took my Airloom religiously as directed: 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening. About a week in, I noticed that I was having trouble falling asleep at night. There’s no caffeine but I read that it’s a very common side effect. I decided to stop taking my nightly dose, while still continuing to take it in the morning. Automatic 2 month supply. Score!

My daughter Emi has brought home 2 nasty colds since I began taking Airloom. I did not catch either one! Also, I have not had one allergy flare up. Most years, by mid November, I’d be miserable.

I’m so grateful to have had the chance to give this supplement a try. The relief I received from taking Airloom is priceless. I’m happy that I didn’t have any time taken away from my duties as a mother and a homemaker this year.  From now on, pharma-free is the way for me! Thanks Airloom!
